Not bad, but definitely has room for improvement

The facilities are great, very clean rooms and comfortable bed. The breakfast was also excellent

There is a sign at the door stating that, if you arrive during your stay between 12pm-5am you should ring a bell right above the sign. During check-in we even asked the receptionist (a very kind girl) and she confirmed. Later that evening we arrived back to the hotel around 00:30 am and rang the bell for about 15min, even called the hotel. At last, some not so friendly guy came and opened the door, telling us using very bad english that we were late. Where? To our not so cheap hotel room? Absolutely unaccaptable.

Wonderful

The location of the hotel is perfect for people who are looking to be surrounded by nature. The view from the room is just gorgeous and there are lots of outdoor facilities perfect for families.

The furniture in the room looks a bit outdated and worn out although the lobby looks like it has been recently renovated.

I would gladly stafy there again!

For me, location was paramount. The room was clean and fine and the staff are friendly and very helpful.

I had one night where the AC (klima) wasn't operating correctly and an issue with the toilet that was resolved.

Back in Dunakiliti- Diamant hotel second time 2021 / 2014

Really nice staff, polite & kind. perfect location, gorgeous environment. great opportunity for water fun. Sári Csárda - nice local hungarian kitchen - great taste but pretty expensive. Loved the outside pool long chairs & baldachin beds / water bike (vizibicikli), great for small kids - mini pool outside/ inside

The hotel needs quit some renovations & more maintenance - pool inside wrongfully treated with too much chloride was not doable to stay inside - itching eyes. Rooms are clean, but beds & furniture need some new investment as they are pretty outdated. Family “suite” / rooms not really great deal - 2room under roof so not full room size - unhandy for adults also not older kids (above 6-7y). 2 swimming pool too cold (outside & inside) Half pension (dinner only - buffet) -5990HUF. / person not always available & need to announce need before 3PM dame day

Great hotel in an idyllic place

This hotel is a 4 star superior and it is very good. It is on the margin of a Danube branch and the scenario is very picturesque. It has a decent wellness area with jacuzzi, sauna, pools for kids and adults; outside it has another pool with a slide and another pool for toddlers. Apart from this, there are plenty of activities to do like bowling, billiards, playstation, etc. The food was very good (both dinner and breakfast) with a wide variety. The staff is very professional and speaks good english. Overall I highly recommend this hotel for parents with children and or young couples.

In the wellness area there was not available towels and maybe because of Covid the restaurant seemed small for the size of the hotel and understaffed.

Great relax not so far from the motorway

Diamant hotel is just that, a diamond. Very nice people, great breakfast and we made use of the facilities. We were allowed to bring our small dog. The environment is also nice. Next to the water and great to walk with your dog. To enter the swimmingpool you received a wristband. You could also use this to get into your room. That is so easy. this way you never forget your "key or room" card.

The set menu at the restaurant and check in procedure could have been better.

Beautiful place with reasonable price. Ideal place for families also with small kids

We visited second time the hotel with 4 kids. It's ideal place for families, because huge garden around the hotel, indoor, outdoor pools, playground and not crowded. The nature around the hotel is beautiful, it is directly alongside the river. It is really quiet place.

It seems the hotel might have some resource issue. On two days the dinner was in a restaurant nearby the hotel, which would be ok, but it was extremely slow, it took almost 2 hours to have a dinner (a la carte), which is 4 kids a challenge. Also on two days the breakfast was a la carte, which is again would be problem for an adult, but with small kids is problematic. We spent 5 days in the hotel, but had only once a cleaning in the room. On one day the bar at the wellness was closed due to illness, no ice cream sold :). On the two days the indoor kid pool was so hot, that nobody could get in! The sunbeds outside and other equipment were not really clean, most probably they have cleaning capacity issues.

Great place to relax!

Perfect relaxing stay. Not many people during the week, so could really enjoy the peace and quiet. Facilities are really good and staff is friendly.

Gets a bit busier during the weekend, so if you enjoy solitude, avoid Sat and Sun.

First stay (and short, business) but I 'immediately' booked the hotel for family holiday.

Good value for money, good food (nothing extra, but good selection, quality made food for buffet dinner and breakfast), clean room and bathroom, small balcony to the room, kind staff (though minor issue in the morning). Although it was my first stay and business purpose, based on this experience I booked the hotel for family stay.

Seems to be 'pets are welcome' hotel, one of the guests' dog was barking around midnight - I think - in their room. For the (balcony) doors/windows an insect net would be welcome.

Beautiful location

It’s amazing located well equipped hotel. The breakfast is very lovely and although the room is very small it was comfortable for us. Staff were kind and polite. Garden and the facilities are pretty good. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

They do have issues with the cleaning. Evetywhere water scale. And one bottle of domestos or hypo would be enough to clean the plastic cover of the pool cleaning system. The white plastic so ugly dirty that I didn’t feel like letting my child being in it.

It could be better.

I arrived in the evening, around nine ... I asked at the reception if it was still possible to have dinner, and the receptionist confirmed it because the restaurant is open ... I rushed with my luggage, then I returned as fast as I could ... but even if the program the working of the restaurant was until ten o'clock, well ... it was already closed !!! I asked for something to drink at the bar, and after I got it, the bartender turned off the lights so we could think we were disturbing him ... I left!!! There was no program on the TV in the room, so I called the reception but the person there was not at all kind and slammed my phone !!!

Great holiday location, perfect for family’s with kids, but a nice retreat for adults too

- The hotel was a fantastic resort for anyone with kids; four pools, soft play, tenpin bowling, huge grass play area outside and various activities - Plenty for adults too, with lots to do during the day and some nice bars around the complex - Rooms were of a decent size, clean and well equipped

- The food included in our half board was a bit hit and miss, but staff were helpful if some options were running low - If you only speak English you may need to seek out the best English speaking members of staff to help you, but the ones we eventually found were very helpful - People should be aware that if you are not staying in the main hotel (there are further rooms 300m away above one of the restaurants), then you may have to endure the noise from weddings on Friday and Saturday nights, as they are held on that side of the complex. It didn’t ruin our stay though.

Awesome

Facilities were great. A fantastic range for all ages. Grounds and grass were well kept and manicured. Rooms were lovely, clean and quaint. Staff generally very friendly, especially reception staff.

Nothing major. A couple of flies around the cold buffet but that’s to be expected with the heat. Perhaps some wire covers for these would be of use.
